FEED THE BEAST DAMNIT PAYTON FEED THE BEAST
I envision a season here Ingram and Lacy are the two best backs.

Based on tonight's game, looks like Saints will continue to rotate RBs heavily. Wouldn't expect Ingram to get more than about 10 touches a game.

That's what I'm worried about. CSP is a great offensive mind, but he's a horrible RB handler. With Ingram playing the way he is, he should get at least 15 runs a game.

If Ingram has a good season this year I would demand a trade. He needs to go to a team where he can show off his skills.

He won't have to, he's a free agent after this season.

I don't think it would be a terrible decision for him to stay in NOLA. He may not get as many touches as he would elsewhere, but that could mean he could prolong his career for a lot more years than most RB's in the NFL do nowadays.

That's true. It just depends on what he wants.
Prolong his career by a few years, maybe make a little bit more money, but not have the career numbers be where you could get them.
Join another team (hopefully a contender) and put up big numbers and still make good money, but your career is a little shorter.
I'm not even sure where he could go though. I'd like to see him play with a contender that will get him 15+ carries a game.
Staying with NOLA is a great option, especially if CSP really feeds him.
Green Bay has Lacy.
Denver has some backs they're fine with and I don't know if they'll still be a contender when Manning retires.
New England may feed him, but then they may not. Plus Brady is getting older and will retire sooner rather than later.
Seahawks have Lynch.
Niners have Gore, and while he's aging, they have Marcus Lattimore behind him.
I think the Colts are a team that could go on a run, and it doesn't look good for T-Rich. The thing is their OL is arse and they run a power scheme, which isn't Ingram's thing.

Nor TR's.

he's been underutilized but that's just the way it is for a lot of teams in today's NFL. Nobody is going to give huge money to that position unless they are one of the 2 or 3 best in the league.

Along with the whole Trent and the power run scheme....
Not only is it a scheme that doesn't play to his strengths...that offensive line just blows.
As someone who actually watches colts games it's absurd what some people say. It's actually kind of funny. People are saying he has no talent at all and his vision sucks and he will never be good...It's pretty funny. Talent? Is that really what Trent freaking Richardson is lacking?
Heres a typical play: Trent comes in, typically a run play in the inside or something of that sort. Right when he gets the ball he will have a defender in his face and he will make them miss and somehow get 2 yards or so out of a play that should have been -3 yards.
Everyone just looks at the stat line and goes "lol 2.8 ypc he sucks he has no talent blah blah blah"
All you have to do is watch a game to see that their offensive line BLOWS.
They are lucky they have an indestructable tank in Andrew Luck or he would be dead by now

The line blows, but it doesn't change the fact that his vision is arse. He has the physical tools, he just runs into his blockers and avoids the open holes. Even with good blocking. And of course Donald Brown didn't struggle behind the same line.
