@FBSchedules: Missouri and Memphis have moved 2015-16 home-and-home football series to 10/19/19 (at Mizzou) and 10/3/20 (at Memphis)
This feels like a very odd home & home. I could understand it more if it was a basketball home & home.

Mizzou couldn't get an OOC home and away with Ole Miss.

Huh? We are in Ole Miss' conference so that is correct.

home and home with Memphis?
Ouch. I expect that one to get cancelled before 2019.

If you want to play them in basketball, you have to play them in football.
Its been that way ever since Calipari got scared and cancelled the Arkansas series.
Their AD now demands football home and homes for basketball games.

Damn !!! I live in Memphis and I wanted to see that game in a couple of years. Now more waiting

It was particularly stupid because you picked an SEC team that they actually did do a home and home with pretty recently

There's a decent number of Mizzou fans in or near Memphis (and Lord knows tons of STL Cardinals fans there) and its an easy drive for most of our fanbase to a pretty fun city for a winnable non-con game. Seems fine to me. We played at Memphis back in like 1999 or 2000 I think as well. Have pics of a younger me drunk off my a$$ on Divers at Silky O'Sullivans to prove it.

Also, Pinkel likes to schedule games with his buddies. He coached at Toledo before Mizzou. One of his former assistant coaches is the DC at Memphis.

Pinkel handles scheduling?

Most head coaches have a say in the matter.
I'm not sure why you would give Mizzou shite about playing a AAC school home and home when home and home series with sunbelt schools have recently been played by other SEC teams...

I love it. Mizzou fans will travel there in droves, its a fun city, and it is an area where we recruit more and more. Not sure why a game there is so perplexing to Bama fans.

Mizzou is officially disqualified from talking shite about SOS from here on out.

not now obviously but when we were in different confs. we had several, one of the first games I attended in the early 70's was a win vs Ole Miss.
maybe you thought you were being clever, oh well.

You have to play them H&H in football to play them H&H in hoops. Tennessee did it when Calipari was there, but now that their hoops program has really declined it is no longer worth it.
I think you could see us play more H&Hs with them if they can become relevant in hoops again.
