Seems to me thats the difference btw defensive minded & offensive minded coaches.

He is obsessed beyond belief with Nick Saban and Alabama
But he's right. I wish Nick would just e more like Miles sometimes and let his players loose. We got some animals on our team but they are so restricted by our system I think.

Apparently Saban has done something right with his philosophy as he's won 4 national titles compared to Spurrier's 1. Also...Saban has an undefeated season on his resume. Spurrier has no such thing.

The OBC is comfortable in his own skin, has made his money and established his bona fides as one of the best ever. Frankly I dont think he gives a damn what anybody else thinks and is having fun with it.
I see pics of him at practice with no shirt and no shoes and I know he is just loving what he does.
Thats awesome in my book. When SOS was at Florida I hated his arse. Mainly because he was beating Auburns when we played more that we won. Respect in retrospect.
Spurrier really is one of the greats and i love his candor. He just says whats real.
