I'm curious to hear how the Aggies feel about Johnson. I realize Texas Tech is a player in his recruitment for now, but A&M could be a bigger player down the road IMO. Are y'all going after quite a few receivers this class? If so, is Johnson a big priority for the A&M staff?

Tmc from tAggyArk can answer more definitively but we definitely want him- I think we are probably shooting for 3 maybe 4 if the cards are right. Our other big prospects would be Chigbu, Kirk, and lodge off the top of my head.
Lets be real. I cannot see a situation where A&M isn't pursuing top Louisiana guys in some way. Same thing with yall going after top Texas people.

That's kind of what I was getting at. I wasn't sure where Johnson fit in with this group. A little embarrassed to say that I haven't followed his recruitment much.

TAM was the frontrunner for Johnson until March. Now they aren't even in the picture. Could change but its gonna take a lot of arse kissing by the TAM staff and a certain coach at Easton. Dad caught wind of this certain coach, and TAM alum, slanting and pushing Tyrons recruitment towards the Aggies and put an end to it and basically shutting the door on TAM. They got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. It happens more than most know but doesn't get public much. Of course the TAM mods always say its an issue they don't feel they should get into when asked why Johnson isn't high on them anymore.
Shortly after all that came to light, Johnson and dad visited LSU and Henry, Cameron and Les hit a homerun with dad. Trust is a huge issue now and that's why LSU is in great shape as of now.

Whatever the reason, Johnson is definitely not high on A&M anymore. Seems like we're a real long shot and he is LSU's to lose.

Interesting, wasn't aware of that. Who are the contenders other than LSU as of now? Is Texas Tech a serious threat?

LSU hasn't offered yet. They want him in camp before they extend one
