What is the story behind your username?

So I realized today that this forum feels like the safest zone in Internet Aggieland, so why not start the kind of thread that flaming won't allow for?
I will go first:
For a long time I lived in West Texas, Odessa specifically. That area, when flying in on an airplane looks like a cardboard box (or a moldy cardboard box if it has rained).
That plus the fact I love boxers and that is my username.

Quidam is a Cirque du Soleil show, the lead character resembles the Headless Horseman with a giant umbrella. Somewhat cool looking IMO.

The Tantal is the AK74-based Polish infantry rifle (now replaced by the Beryl). It's my go-to rifle when the Zombie Apocalypse/Democrat Insurrection kicks off.

I wanted a name that matches an avatar character that people could recognize my posts by.
Therefore I though of Mack from Cars and chose TheRig. BOOM.

Love it! RC is well after my time, but he has always been one of my favorites. He and Bellard had the same genuine folksiness about them that you couldn't help but like.
