According to the police report, when officers arrived they found feces covering the garage floor, and a dead dog lying beside a baby stroller.
Officers also say they found a black dog that appeared to be starving in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The dog was taken to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and it was determined it was extremely thin due to lack of feeding.
A necropsy revealed the deceased dog had only a small piece of black plastic in its stomach, with no food present.
damn that's fricked up

I was really shocked when Petrino signed him. Dude had red flags galore. When OU backs off for off the field issues, that's pretty telling.

Bob said in his press conference on NSD that year they "pulled his offer" because he wouldn't "qualify for the big12's academic standards".
The only reason I remember this is because of how the OU media bought that when the reality is it is easier for athletes to qualify for the big12 than it is the SEC. We've missed out on several JUCOs and HS players to big12 schools over the years because of this.
But, yes, Petrino recruited several tPOSs here and it shouldn't be a surprise our program had the same issues as Louisville's after his departure. It isn't that he is such a hard arse disciplinarian that keeps them inline as it is he some how manages to slip out of programs before he has to deal with the issues that are ahead.

Bert always praised this kid and I even think he said something to the fact of -wish we had an entire team of Jarrett Lakes.
LINK
During the Razorback football media day press conference, head football coach Bret Bielema pointed to Jarrett Lake as one player he wishes he could bottle up and share with every member of the team. He called his positive attitude and work ethic infectious. Jarrett Lake appears to be a person Bielema believes embodies his “1-0? philosophy – taking one task at a time, one day at time

I do not recall any problems from him while he was on the team other than not living up to expectations.

yeah, he actually came in with a lot of red flags, but kept his nose clean while he was here.

but kept his nose clean while he was here.
Perhaps he should be left alone in an enclosed space where he has no chance to fend for himself.

Has he already been convicted of this?
