Ok since we are now officially bowl eligible (hot damn that feels good to say only 9 games into the season) let's look and discuss what the bowl picture looks like. I'm gonna throw out what I feel like the regular season records will be.

Bama 12-0
A&M 10-2
Auburn 10-2
OM 9-3
Mizzo 9-3
USCe 9-3 (I think they drop Clemson)
LSU 8-4
UGA 8-4
Vandy 7-5
Tenn 6-6

So there are 10 bowl eligible teams. (In this scenario)
Now who goes where?

Here is the bowl order.
BCS Champ (I'm assuming Bama goes)
Sugar Bowl
Cap 1
Outback(first selection of remaining East)
Cotton (first selection of remaining west)
Peach Bowl
Gator
Music City
Liberty
Compass
Independence

What are y'all's thoughts?

Here is kinda what I could see. IF things play out like I have them.

Bama BCS Champ
A&M Sugar
Auburn Cap 1
Mizzo Cotton
USCe Outback
OM Peach
LSU Gator
UGA music City
Vandy Liberty
UT compass.

I think Mizzo to Cotton because per secnetwork website Cotton CAN take East as long as Outback is ok with it. And with the geographical location and history of Mizzo with Big 12 I could see Cotton wanting to eat that up.

Thoughts?

I think we go back to cotton. They love us and we travel the best.

I agree with this.. If we win out, any bowl committee will want us bad. We'll get the nod over mizzou.. But personally I think we drop one more game and head to Atlanta for the chicken bowl, which I would also be very happy with.

Wouldn't Auburn likely go to Sugar over A&M? They would have the same record and Aub beat them heads up. I know none of that really means much, but it would make sense.

They would also have Johnny Manziel and the TAMU fan base who are dying to go to a BCS bowl game

We would travel well but Auburn lacks that Johnny Manziel player appeal. We would have to make it a great game against Bama to book a ticket to the Sugar Bowl. Come on LSU beat A&M

Gene pretty much summed it up.

The Sugar bowl would LOVE to to have JFFs last college game.

Plus if Auburn loses to Bama and A&M wins out then A&M would be the higher ranked team

This has pretty much been my prediction except put us in Cotton, Mizzou in Outback, and USCe in Peach.

I don't know if they'd let the East champ drop that far, but USCe would be 9-4 at that point and a very UN-sexy bowl pick.

I think we're Peach at best, Music City at worst. I personally would love nothing more than the Music City bowl because I love Nashville. I think we lose to Mizzou but end up 8-4 and in Jacksonville.

No I would say if we lose to Mizzou then we end up in the Music City but if we beat Mizzou I think we will get either the Peach or Music City.
