already hashed out. But Trey Anastasio said Saban deserves credit for getting Byrd to LSU. Never mind the fact that when Saban was at LSU and (allegedly) recruiting Byrd, Byrd ended up signing with FIU. Then spent two years in JUCO (05 and 06) then signed with LSU once Miles was here.

The Byrd claim is Alabama has 1243543 national titles esque. Never once signed with saban and when he did sign with us it was 2 years after he left.
Miles also received the commitment from and signed Ricky Jean-Francois, Trindon Holliday and Brandon LaFell. They never committed nor were signed by Saban.
Those 3 were part of the last recruiting class he was recruiting to LSU but none of those guys committed to him, instead committed/signed to Miles.

So why stop there if it's "Recruited"? List every single player Saban "Recruited" while at LSU and Alabama. List would swell to over 1000 easily.
Just a really dumb move to put those guys on there who never once committed to or signed with him.
