Pretty good offers for not exactly imposing numbers. Reply Back to Top
What do you know about Patrick Swilling, Jr., being on a visit to State right now? Word came out that he committed to LSU a few days ago, and now word is out that it may be false and he doesn't have an offer yet. Kind of wierd. Are your sites saying anything about him? Reply Back to Top
quote: I haven't heard anything at all about this. However Coach Ray has been holding his cards VERY CLOSE to his chest in terms or recruits over the past month since he was hired. I don't think we have anyone visiting this weekend. What position does Swilling Jr. play? We just got commitments from a PG and SG, and Borchert is the PF we are recruiting the hardes. | 6-3 combo guard. More of a 2, but can play back up minutes at the point. JUCO, but from New Orleans. His best offers are Ole Miss and Colorado. LSU offer is unconfirmed. I don't know if he's at State or not, that's just the word going around. Reply Back to Top |
We recruited him for a bit but stopped. I was actually hoping we'd keep recruiting him. He's a pretty good shooter, but from a lot of stuff I read, he's stupid basketball IQ wise. Reply Back to Top

'13 PG IJ Ready from Little Rock also named Miss St his leader, was commited to Nebraska before they fired Sadler. About 5'9". Good player, but got passed over by Anderson for Dederick Lee, and I don't know if Ready is high major quality. Reply Back to Top
Arkansas native Wes Flannigan is the lead recruiter on all of our recruits it seems. Reply Back to Top
Apparently LSU is trying to get Borchert to visit. Reply Back to Top

You speak in so many absolutes, one might think you are psychic, or perhaps psychotic. It would obviously be without precedent for a recruit to change his mind and push a commit date back. It never happens, except like 1000 times a year. Reply Back to Top
I think he winds up at State because he can get instant PT with the open spots we have. Our insiders on pay boards feel VERY confident, plus I hear his gf from his JUCO is going to State next year. What does LSU have to offer him over State? He won't play over JOB. Reply Back to Top

Xavier: withdrew offer Georgetown: Assistant recruiting him left Mississippi State: Currently on visit Any room out there on that limb for me? Reply Back to Top
I could care less about what other schools think. This kid can play and he will address a NEED that we have (a big who can shoot the 3) Reply Back to Top
I agree. I'm not insinuating that he can't. I wouldn't mind if LSU offered him. I'm just saying that, by process of elimination, it's pretty easy to pencil him in at State. Reply Back to Top
