According to Bryan Matthews

He didn't want to be an undrafted free agent

Since when is putting up 238 yards receiving averaging less than 10 yards per catch NFL-worthy? Reminds me of Marquis Maze considering a jump to the NFL last year. Absolutely ridiculous.

He played fullback for us this year, he's still one of the top TE's in the nation.

For real? I would think him at a combine would be disaster. That one handed catch was sweet though

Redzone weapon, great hands, great blocker, good size. What more do you want from a TE? And his stats are more a reflection of his QB play he worked with

Two minutes ago, I would have bet you $100 that he was a Senior ...

I don't think he would test well. Just seems like one of those guys that plays better than his measurables. What's his listed 40 time?

Also, TE's are dime a dozen these days

4.7 out of HS. And he's 6'5 250lbs. He would have been drafted this year, probably in the middle rounds

There's just so many TE's nowadays that are big and athletic. I don't think he would get drafted until 6-7th round if at all personally. Why waste a 3-4 round pick on a TE, unless they are a complete freak

The Vikings drafted two TE's last year. I think they were both before the 5th round.

Bunch of haters in this thread. Lutzenkirchen is a weapon and I won't be sad to see him leave Auburn. Would have sworn he was a senior
