And everyone else but Ohio State lost 2 games that year two. We were #4 when the #1 and #2 team went down but LSU jumped us from #7 to #2.

Doesn't matter. They lost two games, one of them being a blowout loss to Tennessee. They weren't the #3 team in the country. It's not the same situation at all.

The irony would be if USC beats Oregon and Baylor beats OU. Going into next week 1LSU 2UA 3ARK and ARK wins. After that week either UA or Ark finishes at 1 and 2 and LSU 3rd. UA plays for the SECCG and BCS, ARK goes to the Sugar Bowl and LSU to the Cotton.

Everyone knew Ohio State was overrated that year yet they moved up anyway. Not only did Georgia not move up but they dropped a spot.
LSU jumped 5 spots.
Why wasn't anyone calling for an all SEC BCS title game then? Their reason Georgia didn't win their division but its ok for Bama though

It is the same situation. The only argument I heard from all the "BCS experts" for the snub was because WE DIDN'T OUTRIGHT WIN OUR DIVISION. Not because we got blown out by Tennessee or that we lost 2 games. Us losing 2 games was irrelevant as well because the all the top teams besides Ohio State all had 2 losses as well; everyone else was lobbying for that #2 spot.
