Chick-fil-A Bowl Payout

Sorry if this is Germans , I did a quick search and could not find it.

But how can the Chick-fil-A Bowl justify paying the two teams different amounts of money?
$3,250,000 ACC; $2,400,000 SEC

Both teams earned a right to get there yet they get paid differently based on their conference

Seriously though could it have something to do with the sec and the chikfila contract? Not sure why its like that really

Because the Chick-Fil-A Bowl is where the #2 ACC team goes. The SEC team is the #5 team selected by the bowls.

Look at it this way: your team won't lose money on the bowl game, the way most teams do.
