Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada entered the transfer portal this week and could end up back in the SEC, according to reports.

Rashada was a highly recruited quarterback from Pittsburg, Calif., and originally signed with Florida but was released from his national letter or intent after a reported NIL deal fell through.

Now, Georgia could be a potential landing spot for Rashada, according to 247 Sports. Per SDS:

Shortly after that news was made public, 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer reported that Georgia is the “school to watch” for Rashada this spring.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart has not been shy about wanting to add a 4th scholarship quarterback this offseason. The Bulldogs heavily recruited former UNLV passer Jayden Maiava back in the winter, but he ultimately ended up at USC.

Earlier this spring, Smart told reporters he still wanted to add another QB to work alongside Carson Beck, Gunner Stockton and Ryan Puglisi.
Rashada played in three games as a freshman last season, passing for 485 yards, with four touchdowns and the interceptions.
