Another Wire thread and another vote for Jay Landsman as the greatest small role character in a series. Ask yourself. Is there a scene involving Landsman that wasn't awesome? The lie detector scene, the jack off description scene, Cole's wake scene (my favorite). The Tweedy Impertinence scene....

Your child needs to be in an asylum. She is a danger to you, your family, and likely society in general. I realize this is infinitely easier for me to type than for you to act on and my heart goes out to you and your family. ...
I would be worried about BK not getting to the playoff any time soon and failing to win a championship at LSU.
Remember that time we sent Blake Baker down to AA ball in Missouri before calling him back up to the big leagues this year? That was cool....

Pretty good video on the rebuild. The disrepair seemed to be a result of time constraints. I'm with you on the rock wall removal. I know they wanted to return to its original design and "natural state", but I thought they took it a little too far. [embed]https://youtu.be/kNApY5dlMOI?si=s1IDp...

Top left. 10 years after his modeling gig, The kid has gotten in with the wrong crowd, starts hitting the pills, loses his plant job, knocks over a liquor store, ends up doing a 3 year stint in Huntsville and upon release moves into a trailer in Pasadena TX [img]https://i.postimg.cc/pT...

There is no need for it nor do I have any idea how you would implement it, but I would love a 16 team, two week true double elimination SEC Tournament in which each team treated it like a must win tourney. Its a glorified scrimmage for some and yet it is still a tremendous event overall....
The powers that be really haven't acknowledged that the initial call even happened.
This is indeed what they are falling back on, but its some really weak bullshite. There is a still shot of the ump making the out call, and there was a significant amount of time between the play an...
One. I felt we would throw the entire staff if need be to get that win. I did not expect us to one hit Kentucky or score 11 on them. However, once we did I was convinced we have a chance to make some noise the rest of the way....
Neal should have waited for the ball to cross the plate
Well. by rule, he did. He is not allowed to make contact with the hitter, and not allowed to step on or beyond home plate. He did none of those things. You can argue that him being beyond home plate was a judgement call...
ou almost need to go on YouTube but it was a play where the USC coach banked on the ump screwing up on a home plate steal and they dud.
Nahh, the runner banked on LSU falling asleep. The hitter was the most shocked player on the field, so it wasn't a called play or he missed a sign...

It was either a bad interpretation of the rule or he was was wrong in his judgement about his foot being beyond home plate....
