If you aren’t playing a service academy, it’s really hard not to root for them. They never have the biggest or strongest players but they always have really good athletes. Plus, I’m no commie bastard so, there’s that too....

That shite happened to me when I was in one of the first years of kid pitch ball. My friend Jason was on the other team on the mound and he had an arm with no control. Young Jobu dodges a ball meant form what looked like my ear hole but I turned away somehow.

Do programs shed the Revenue sports and set themselves and the students as employees? If so, that opens up the insurance side of things and any logistics that come with the corporate world.

SEC Champ getting run ruled now 4 times in the last 11 years.
If there was ever a metric of Something to Play For vs. Nothing to Play For this might be it.
Just goes to show any team in this conference can't take the foot off the gas and expect something good to happen....

we got power back yesterday late afternoon, which was pretty damned fast all things considered.
This Duramax 13000 tri fuel is worth every bit I spent on it. Now I just have to get it integrated into the main breaker box and get some soft start for my 5 ton unit. If that taxes the generator too...

We are in Cypress just north of where those high tension power lines crumpled.
One of my sons friends houses was hit by the tornado and looks as if it were blown up. Thankfully the family was safe, by some miracle. They climbed out of that wreckage unscathed.
