yes. I would assume that they will do some training with PLC's in the class. Concentrate in class and also in your free time on learning about PLC's and SCADA... Then dont take a job that wants you to do pneuma...

id lean toward the automation/scada/electrical side more than the pneumatic/instrumentation side. better quaity people you will be working with, way more job opportunities, and the top pay is much higher. ...

my fear of these procedures would be overdoing it and looking crazy. I myself am in my 40's and look young but have noticed some wrinkles popping up. I really enjoy looking young. It beats the hell out of looking like you are in your late 50's like some people in our age group....
