Hes also technically an expiring unlike Trae who is locked into a big deal.
I know everyone thinks BI has to agree to a long term deal wherever he goes. But technically he can just go to another team and be flipped later on. I think that makes a huge difference for certain teams....

It does but the ceiling is the first round. Its like the bulls who center everything around Derozan- whos a better version of BI- they always lose in the play-in or early in the playoffs....

This would work but I think Dyson would go with Nance not EJ.
The more I think about it. This is the exact trade Pels should target. Trae with long defenders like Trey and Herb and great pick and roll guy like Zion makes sense. OO is the active young switchable big that Willie prefers.
