Hes also technically an expiring unlike Trae who is locked into a big deal. I know everyone thinks BI has to agree to a long term deal wherever he goes. But technically he can just go to another team and be flipped later on. I think that makes a huge difference for certain teams....
Look at that Jrue trade now. It did nothign to make us better, and no we didn't need it to get CJ.
To be fair, I think Griffin was banking on Giannis leaving and trying to do right by Jrue. ...
I just don’t think his skill set translates to wins in the current NBA.
It does but the ceiling is the first round. Its like the bulls who center everything around Derozan- whos a better version of BI- they always lose in the play-in or early in the playoffs....
And his dad can still get him there 1-3 years from now. The difference is he might could have earned it by then.
This is fair but Lebron may be out of the league and his influence to get him on a team may be gone.
He literally said he wants to write his own narrative. Hav...
If it's a make a wish dream type situation, his dad can make his wish come true this year or 2-3 years from now, it doesn't matter. He needs to try and earn it himself or this will never leave him.
The guy just wants to play in the NBA and if his dad gets him there- who cares? I’m ...
I don't get why Bronny would want to even go into the draft this year. He 100% knows that he will get labeled as a guy that only got drafted because of his dad.
Its a weak draft probably has more of a chance to get drafted than other drafts. He might get labeled that in the beginni...
This would work but I think Dyson would go with Nance not EJ. The more I think about it. This is the exact trade Pels should target. Trae with long defenders like Trey and Herb and great pick and roll guy like Zion makes sense. OO is the active young switchable big that Willie prefers. Trae is...
Why would they do that?
Yeah theres no reason to. People need to understand they see Suggs as a part of their core. Suggs to them is like Herb to us. Hes their culture setter. They’re not trading him. ...
But what also doesn’t help is when you have long drawn out plays, need to wait for major personnel changes every play; you’re breaking the huddle late which gives you less time to process. Basically, feeding into a weakness instead of trying to build on a strength and attempt to mask/aide the...
Yes. He is a talented player. He is not nor ever going to be an elite scorer, but he is a really good all around player, and a VERY good defender. Kinda reminds me of AK47 in some ways, or even Jimmy Butler (but not as good of a scorer as Butler has become).
He has “coby white” pot...
Chicago should probably tank, but they aren't going to tank.
They sell out almost all their games and even if they’re just play-in competitive its to their benefit. From a basketball standpoint they should tank and rebuild. From a business and selling tickets standpoint they...
Small markets have the ability to freeze out media outlets, the Saints are notorious for it.
Yup. They try to control whats being written and public opinion to sell tickets despite the losing and other issues with the team....
forget the general public, what about the free agents that don’t sign there for that reason
They didn’t want to sign there because at the time the knicks organization sucked not because of the media. Thats changed now with how well they’re playing. How many free agents are clamorin...
Because he's not good enough. There are thousands of guys that deserve a roster spot and have earned it on their skill and hard work. Not because their dad is a major bitch.
Thats life. This seems like a deeper issue for you than just basketball. Nepotism happens everywhere in almo...
Lebron should be embarrassed.
Because he has the power to get his son on a NBA team and fulfill his dream? I get Lebron hate on a lot of things- don’t really get why he should be embarrassed by this if teams are willing to draft Bronny because of Lebrons influence....
Why respond to two different questions with the same answer? A bit redundant ey?
Sure ok. My point was that trade is not advantageous for either Cleveland or Atlanta. If Griffin pulls that off we all should kiss his arse....
That's the thing that scares the hell out of me with going all in behind Zion. You have to cater a roster to his bizarro skillset, but can't rely on him to bring that skillset to the game for an entire season.
He was developing a middie game late in the season and I agree this seas...
Would Atlanta shop out Murray and a first for BI?
I don’t think they would include the first.
Would Cleveland give up Allen for atlantas first?
The hawks are not giving up the first overall pick in the draft and Murray just to get BI. I dont think Atl gives ...
Bi to Atlanta, hawks first to Cleveland, Allen and Murray to pelicans
I don’t think BI by himself will get us Murray and Jarrett Allen....
I dunno, Sheppard, Avdija and Kuzma would be a solid return if we can get a good return for Kuzma flipping to a 3rd team. Nothing flashy, but definitely solid Holding Kuzma until the deadline could be a good move also, once teams start to have players go down they could be enticed by him.[/q...
