re: Tide Hoops | Offseason

I think our offense will remain in the top 10 conservatively but more than likely still in the top 5. It'll be tough to match our numbers when we had a healthy Wrightsell, unfortunately, we lost the top spot in AdjO to UConn after that stretch of Wrightsell being out. We were on pace to have one of ...

We finished 14th in Torvik last year, only moving up 3 spots with the additions we made seems a bit off. ...
Interesting comment in here from Oats: "I'm gonna have three guys that I hired out of the NBA on staff this coming year." It sounds like Alabama's final assistant coach hire will come from the NBA, joining Charlie Henry and Ryan Pannone as the third NBA hire in Oats' tenure.
...

The player to keep an eye on is going to be Sherrell. If he develops nicely and is ready to play rotational minutes in November, that's going to help avoid having to play Grant and Stevenson too much at the 5. It'll still happen with some of our lineups because that's just the nature of our system a...
Also kids today are lucky. We were paying $20 for 3 episodes of DBZ back then on VHS and DVD.
I remember going to Suncoast on Tuesdays and picking up my VHS of the latest episodes. Good times. ...
Oh man when Sinatra started playing it took me back to the Oceans 11 days. Can't wait for this one. ...

Sears Wrightsell Youngblood Nelson Cliff I think this is what we're going to see on opening night. That's five 5th year Seniors which includes a 2nd team All-American/1st team All-SEC, a 45% 3pt shooter on high volume, an AAC PotY, All-Region player playing his natural position, and the best...
We would have Grant Nelson, Aiden Sherrill, Derrion Reid, and Mo D at the 4
I mean yeah Nelson is the starter but I'm just talking about Jarin's minutes. Sherrell is probably going to be primarily the back up 5 and Reid is going to be competing for the starting job at the 3, if he ...

If either Sears or Jarin actually leaves there's a lot of confidence in Will Riley reclassifying and joining for this upcoming season. I would still be a little worried about the backup 4 if it's Jarin, it'd be Mo and I guess Reid. I have a bit more confidence in Aden and Philon replacing Sears'...

Yes, the only way you can say no is his duration here at this time but another SEC title and at least another S16 appearance and I don't see how anyone can say no at that point. ...
They did seem to steal some plot lines from the office: - a branch is closing and they need to get their numbers up to survive - sending a racy email to the wrong person / group
Those are pretty basic workplace storylines. You could say The Office stole many ideas from Office...
Finished season 2. You can tell they had an overhaul in the writing and creative department. Some good episodes but just didn't hit the level that season 1 had IMO. Hoping for a season 3, I think they can/should wrap it up after a 3rd. Felt pretty frustrated that in the grand scheme, we didn't le...

So I finally watched the finale and slept on it for a couple of days and I think I've concluded that I prefer the show just to end rather than have another season. I did not see the point of making him an alien and then waiting so long for the twist, that you barely have time to acclimate becaus...

Yeah, I don't think anything has changed. Sears is in a position where he can truly choose between two great outcomes, a better position than most in his situation. If he gets a guarantee, he can start toward his dream of playing in the NBA. If the feedback isn't great, he's going to get a fat NIL c...
A couple things that bothered me this season, surface things not the big thing, the cuts to classic detective movies (Vertigo, Double Indemnity etc.) just made me wonder why I wasn't watching those movies and didn't help when I compared Sugar to those. Starting season 2 this weekend, I have one episode left of Sugar and have to finish Fallout. Going to be a busy weekend with a concert thrown in there as well. Really loved season 1, reviews of season 2 have been kinda mixed so we'll see what happens....
Yeah they will be good, but they retained a ton this past season too. AU will pad their wins to look more impressive than they are though. I truly believe if they beefed up their non-conference schedule a little more they would be more ready when it comes to the tournament that actually matte...
Unpopular opinion but they’ll be Top 10 caliber next year. They retain a ton
I'll say a big positive with Pearl is he does retain a lot of his players and that experience and chemistry can go a long way early in the season and when trying to get over a wall during the season. ...
