The early northern dominance was in part because of population and in part the fact that they started playing football 30 years earlier, at a time when many southern universities were smoldering ruins from the Civil War. The Pacific teams were not as successful until a little later. Today,...

Totally agree. Sherrell is probably the more important incoming freshmen in terms of filling a niche. Reid is the better prospect but his roles mean it'd just be icing on the cake if he can't be kept off the court. Sherrell is ideally the real backup center even though Nelson probably ends up playin...
My guess on the rotation: Sears / Holloway / Philon Youngblood / Wrightsell / Mallette Wrightsell / Mallette / Reid / Dioubate Nelson / Stevenson / Sherrill / Reid / Dioubate Omoruyi / Nelson / Stevenson / Sherrill
Alright, added Mo D into the mix. I think it is possible tha...
I think the SEC should try to prevent the Big Ten from getting into the SEC footprint. The Big Ten has some great names in the Midwest and Pacific Coast but the demographic story for large chunks of their footprint is slow or negative growth. On the other hand, the SEC is largely a contiguous re...
Dont forget this was the group of players who made the GOAT give up coaching. For me the 2023 team will always be a group of selfish assholes.
They won the SEC and were basically one stop on 4th and short late from going to the national title game and probably winning it....
I thought Bama would lose Stevenson or Mo D or both, but I was wrong. I thought they would leave because I thought they would want more playing time and roles.
I completely forgot about Mo D in my rotation spitball. LMAO. We so rich, folks....
I don’t think the Omoruyi / Stevenson / Nelson combo will see much time together until and unless Nelson shows he can guard athletic perimeter guys.

Agreed. I think the biggest thing with this roster is the flexibility it gives us. Against a team that struggles guarding the ...

The big thing is going to be getting Youngblood and Omoruyi integrated. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a bit of choppy waters in the OOC simply because a good bit of the rotation from last year is gone. Luckily, we're talking about integrating major upgrades from Griffen at 2 and Pringle at 5. ...

Truth be told, I like Garrett Nussmeier. He's got all the qualities to be a great college quarterback. As long as they get good play from their WRs, I imagine he'll be a real threat to win conference OPotY. ...
