I haven't been there in a few years, but I've always thought that Memphis bbq as a whole is overrated. The only three that were decent IMO were Central BBQ, BBQ Shop, and Germantown Comissary. The lamb ribs at Rendezvous were good, but the bbq itself was pretty mediocre. Never been to Memphis BBQ Co...
