You have no more of an idea that he would hit into a DP than I have that he would have still hit the HR. Neither of those outcomes was guaranteed under any circumstance.

The SEC will have a 2:30 slot. Biggest game that week might not always be there. ESPN/ABC taking over the whole SEC package means there is the potential every week to put a prime time game(s) on ABC and/or ESPN.

It's the old "best team vs. most deserving team" argument. I always fall on the "most deserving team" side.
For instance, Florida got in at 28-27 and 13-17. Playing a tough schedule is one thing, but, at some point, should you get credit for just playing those games or shouldn't you have to win ...
