That was actually smart. He was moving away. By flipping to the guy ready to throw they got it in quicker and if I remember the play correctly that’s when brown was held at 3rd. Could be wrong....

Think he will get it together tomorrow. Build off of that into Sunday and back to being Tommy Tanks. He’s too good. Jones is the same way. He looked awful at times in Hoover but then, he got it going and now seems to be seeing the ball not just when he hits it 440 plus but also drawing walks....

Yeah even if he doesn’t hit it out. He battled and got rewarded with a pitch he could turn. We need to start games seeing pitches and making them work ( jones excluded in that)....

For the first time in a while I can remember, jones worked 2 full count walks ( if I remember correctly). He was patient. Hell of a game....
