Is Kentucky baseball real?

Posted by BigBlue8Titles on 5/12/24 at 6:34 pm
Admittedly, I don’t follow college baseball at all and know very little about the teams. It seems, however, that a substantial group of Kentucky fans are jumping on the wagon for this team, despite Kentucky being pretty average in the past. Can someone with more background following college baseball...

Cal to the Lakers?

Posted by BigBlue8Titles on 5/3/24 at 5:13 pm
Hearing lots of chatter today that the Lakers approached Calipari and he is considering. Word is the wife isn’t thrilled with Fayetteville so a quick pivot to the NBA might be best for everyone ...

Arky: Buyer’s remorse yet?

A few weeks with Cal and his antics are in the books. Are you guys still as excited about the future as the day you signed him? How does it feel for your school and state to be pitched as “Calipari U” instead of “Arkansas”? ...
Huge get! 6’11 stretch 4 who shot 37% from 3 for Wake Forest this past year. Our post is looking pretty solid. Pope is getting it done! ...
Who is this dumb shite “captdalton”? Never seen him on here much before. Sounds like a homer (for a team with ONE final four all time), with an axe to grind with UK. And no, a substantial part of the fan base didn’t want Nate Oats, regardless of the price. Kentucky fans filled Rupp (23000 capacity) ...
It took rupp 14 years to win a national championship. He would have been fired in todays world
While technically correct, it's important to note that no NCAA or NIT tourney existed in the 1930s. Rupp won the Southern Conference regular season championship in his second season (193...
His record at Freeport from 1926-1930 was 66-21 and he was coming off a third place finish at the state tournament when UK made the call to bring him to Lexington. Let's look at how that hire of an "unproven" coach turned out! Mark Pope's college experience beats Rupp's by a mile....
There is zero chance Hurley is leaving the northeast. He and his wife are from Jersey and there is no way his wife is moving out of the area.
Kentucky is better. Now if it was LSU recruiting him, and the family was faced with moving to Louisiana, I could see your point....
Don Devoe beat the Cats often too, but I would have never hired him as my coach ...
Will need 16m per year IMO
I told someone a couple of nights ago that $15 mil per, a NIL guarantee and new practice facility in the near future would bag Hurley. Still think it's true...

re: Theyre coming for you Auburn
Tony Bennett catching wild strays
I can't imagine the reaction of the fans if he was hired and implemented his "deliberate" style of ball. Rupp would rollover in his grave....
WTF are you talking about Titties. Tony Bennett isn't even on our tier 2 list
If Drew says no (and assuming Hurley and Donovan do as well), it's wide open. I wouldn't expect Bennett would be considered a good fit at KY with his style of play, however, who knows what the High Comma...
Rumors they may be talking to Tony Bennett? The Craft jet was heading to VA this morning....
Quote by Hunter Yurachek (Arky AD) at the Calipari announcement. It's becoming obvious that the boosters (Tyson, Walton, Hunt, etc.) hired Cal and it doesn't sound like the AD was really on board. I'm thinking the AD, Yurachek should probably update his resume, because Cal will do whatever he want...
It's easy. Barnhart (the KY AD) and Calipari fell out a couple of years ago and basically Barnhart froze out Calipari from NIL. Also, it didn't help that Calipari fell out with a major booster over the booster's wife using one of the players at her political campaign rallies for Governor. It all ...
Seems like the largest group of folks with supposed inside info think it’s Drew...
Probably will take $14-15 mil per to get him in Lexington plus $50 mil+ NIL for players, and a practice facility. I sure hope that next SEC TV deal is a doozy to pay for all of this…...
From his commentary on the SEC Network, the dude does seem like he knows football....
