21 under for the tournament. Ran away with 1st place; but that’s not the story.

They shot -20 of the -21 in just one day. Never seen anything like it.

U Club is such a solid damn course too. I can’t imagine shooting those scores from the back tees

Wow, that is pretty awesome. I had kept up with day 1 but missed checking in the last couple of days. Thank you for posting.

Classy post. Sounds like LSU was a great host.

I think this team has a shot to win a Championship. If they play like they did today and also at the SEC Championship, they can win it all.

Yeah i was in a scramble tournament one time where one team claimed to have shot a 51. They ran to their vehicles with their prize money

What do you think was the difference the third day?

Better conditions?
Better playing?
Better course management?
Better luck?
Better setup?

To go from 1 under to 21 under is crazy.

Day 3 was interesting because for some it was the worst day and others improved. Maybe risk-reward tee placements. Weather was perfect but there is nothing you can do to create a performance like this. Auburn lapped the field.

LSU was in a battle for the 5th seed to advance. On last hole the 6th place team was trying to eagle to win and hit it into the water.

We used to play there when I was at LSU. Best I could do from the tips on that course was an 83.

Not trying to steal Auburn's thunder, as what they did in the final round was amazing, but also probably need to give Vandy a shout out. 4 of their 5 golfers places in the top 10 with the 5th golfer tying for 14th place. That is some really good golf over all 3 days.

Out of the 15 rounds played by the 5 golfers, only twice did they shoot over par, and that was 1 over each time. That is strong 1-5 right there.

I guess that is why Auburn and Vandy are ranked 1-2.

A showdown for the national championship seems imminent. Would be interesting two seem two elite teams, playing their best, going at it.

They got a young kid named Josiah Gilbert from Australia. That boy is gonna make some noise.

He whipped Gordon Sargent's arse in the SEC Championship match play a couple weeks ago. Only a freshman.

How about Arkansas-Pine Bluff sitting at +112?
