This game is a lose-lose. If Georgia wins, we get 12 weeks of “gonna win it all”. If Georgia loses, we get ACC tards crashing tRant and announcers gushing over Ukelele as the next Messiah.

Sounds like a win-win to me…

It's ridiculous to say that. In 2015 Alabama actually covered against Clemson until Watson scored a last second td. In 2016 Alabama was leading by 3 scores in the 4th quarter. The defense was gased and Watson scored enough to win. 2017 we dominated Clemson. 2018 they dominated us. In 2020 Alabama would have killed Clemson.

They were 5, 3 , 10 and 7. Alot of the top players out of those classes are either in the NFL, didn't develope or are no longer there. Thomas and Henry were both 5 stars and have done very little. Ross has talent, shows flashes but isn't consistent. Bowman is gone, Kendrick is gone. They have a solid dline, oline not so much.

QB-UGA RB-UGA WR-UGA TE-UGA OL-UGA DL-UGA LB-UGA I would even venture to say UGA has a better secondary but prove to me that UGA isn't better vthan Clemson at every position and significantly better a several.

It's never been about talent disparity with UGA. I would imagine they rarely field teams in which they do not have better overall talent -that's certainly been the case against Clemson. If talent alone was all it took, Georgia should have as many NCs as Alabama.
This year may indeed be different. UGA may have accumulated enough elite talent that they will be able to overcome Kirby's coaching, and their firmly established status as the most underachieving team in all of college football.

Their fans will then tell us all throughout the offseason that their only two losses were to teams that made the College Football Playoff when 1980 is thrown in their faces again.

Would it be untrue?

How far do you have to go back on Florida? You are 9-21 in the last 30 years on them.

What does that say about Dabo? He got smacked around in Athens by Richt in his down years. Also with a team that had Mike Williams, Wayne Gallman, Corey Crawford, Grady Jarrett, Tyshon Dye, Ben Boulware, Hunter Renfroe and Adam Humphries. Clemsoning is a thing and Dabo invented it. Now he brings in the most overrated team yet, this team could lose 4 games this year. Having no oline and no running game is going to matter more than you will believe. When you cant block or run, defenses are going to pin their ears back and destroy your QB.

This is a different time with Dabo's coaches and everyone can look at the last 6 years of the playoff era and see it.

Dabo has a great coaching staff. They are developing players at a higher rate than just about any program around not named BAMA. It's the great separator among the "Superteam" era.

Clemson's sample size for 5 stars is much smaller than BAMA and by a lot (13 to 41 since 2008), and Georgia (26) but they are getting a lot of juice for the squeeze. 36% going in the first round and over 92% of their 5* recruits being drafted.

Georgia's 5* are going to the NFL first round at 15% and 65% being drafted.

So you know, BAMA's 5* are going in the first round at a 48.8% clip and 75% are being drafted. Florida is actually 3rd in the nation with player development. 20-5*and they are going in the first round at a 30% rate and 60% are being drafted.

BAMA and Clemson and Florida, since 2008 are doing the best job at player development in that time frame.

Most UGA fans aren't buying into the blowout scenario, just a vocal small minority, and half of them are just trolling. The majority of UGA fans, particularly the ones who pay attention, are optimistically predicting a close win.

When was the last time (under Kirby) that UGA blew out a team of similar talent? It has never happened. It's always close.

There is a hope that in OC Monken's second year, and finally with a servicable QB, that UGA can start being more aggressive and not have the end of every game against a quality team be a nail biter.

This is a reasonable take.

Do you believe that Kirby will get in Monken's way? Do you think JT could be like Jake Fromm and regress?

The regression from Fromm was due in large part to coley as OC and all of the 2018 wrs being gone.

I can only go on what I've seen and from what I've seen this is not the case. In their last three meetings, Georgia has led Alabama at the half. In each of those three contests, Georgia ended up losing the game.

Halftime adjustments are often needed when you are struggling before half time, so those 2 bama games aren’t proper Examples. See the playoff game vs OU for the best example.

Clemson plays in the weak arse ACC, all players look better when they grossly out talent their competition.

IT is also why the blow outs all of sudden disappear when they step up to big boy football... Then the sign stealing starts.

He didn't last season.

I think Fromm would be a monster with Monken and the receivers at UGA right now. I don't think JT will regress and I hope he stops under throwing his deep balls.
