Only three series left. Who hosts? Who travels? Who stays home?

Hosts:

Hogs
Vols
KY
TAM
UGA
USC

Travels:

Vandy
MSU
Bama

No chance:

Mizzou
Auburn

Here is where it gets interesting.

Florida: RPI 32; 9-12; remaining SEC series - TN, KY, @UGA; they need to go 4-5.

LSU: RPI 36; 7-14; remaining SEC series - TAM, @Bama, Ole Miss; they need to go 6-3.

Ole Miss: RPI 26; remaining SEC series - @AU, TAM, @LSU; they need to go 6-3.

Do any of those teams make the tournament?

State isn’t out of the hosting discussion after winning the series against Vandy.

We have Bama, Arky, and Mizzou left. Nobody has swept us yet. I think at worst we finish 17-13 in conference. Should sweep Mizzou and take 1 at least from the other two. If we can finish at 18-12 and win one of the Bama or Arky series we should host

They also need to take care of business in the mid week (FAU & USF). Only 1 game over .500 currently and can't get an at large bid if under

Honestly I think LSU and UF are out. I think OM gets in if any of them do

LSU is 42 in the updated RPI. Teams that go 13-17 need to have a really high RPI to get an at large bid. They might be able to play their way in if they get to 14-16 and win some games at Hoover.

LSU has to win the last 3 series and a sweep would be nice but I can’t see this team winning any of the remaining series.

Add Ole Miss to this list. We are awful and will finish under .500 for our overall record.

With one series left it looks like Florida and LSU are out. Florida needs to win their series at Georgia and LSU needs to sweep Ole Miss at home to even have a chance. Both look doubtful.

Ole Miss is in a little better position. If they can win their road series at LSU they have a chance. A sweep would likely get them in. A road sweep is unlikely.

USC kissed their chances of hosting goodbye by getting swept. They likely get roughed up further in Knoxville this weekend.

State likely takes their place as host as long as they can win their series at Missouri.

Alabama needs to win at least one at Auburn to feel comfortable, but with their #11 RPI one win should make them a lock. If they were to get swept by Auburn they might find themselves on the outside looking in.
