I agree but i will take two of them. Strong guys who can run after the catch will always be valuable, especially in the nfl with the hip drop nonsense now.

I'm sure I'm missing some guys. Thin at the position seems like an odd take, unless you just mean guys that are proven
yes proven guys. If someone is going to have to step up as a freshman, being a 6'5 220 4.5 40 freak with a massive catch radius really helps. Hes the kinda guy you can just highpoint and no defender is gonna have a chance at it. He doesn't have to be super polished to be effective early because of his massive physical advantages

I'm gone," Turner said. "Ain't no if, ands or buts about it.

I didn’t like the way that he left, seemed disrespectful to coach Saban along with other comments he made at the time.

I’m cool with him doing whatever he wants and not being a lasting part of the program in the future. See ya bro, no ifs ands or buts about it.

He was actually part of the program though and he helped his team win.

You as a fan can't just erase people who actually are the program just because you don't like what they say or how they said it

I didn’t erase him, it’s fairly obvious he chose to not be there for the ceremony and I said, with the way he left, I’m ok with it.

I’m not really bashing the guy, I’m just saying if he doesn’t love Bama like the other guys then it’s for the best that he’s not immortalized like they will be.

It's not the first time that a player preparing for the draft has missed the ceremony. Bryce wasn't there last year

As a fan we can pick or choose whomever we want to respect.

What did I miss? Seemed very complimentary in everything I have seen. The only points that may have been even loosely veiled were the ones about Saban becoming more laid back off the field, open to ideas, and that no one can coach forever. All of which is true. What did I miss?

Well, if that’s the case, then maybe I’m being too hard on him. I didn’t love the comments after the game, with the stuff about “I just do what I’m told” and the blunt way he said he was leaving, but that could’ve been the disappointment of the moment.

The idea that he was skipping Coach Saban’s last captain’s ceremony just kind of confirmed my preconceived notion that he didn’t care about Alabama and was moving on as quickly as possible.

I think fans take it too personal whenever a player says something they don't like. I don't see any issues with Turner and this isn't first time a player missed ceremony.

Brailsford reportedly did not scrimmage.

Hope he doesn't decide to leave if Brockermeyer beats him out.

Don't see how he could get beat out.
