I agree. But if there is proof of any fricky fricky and that comes out it would be huge. Obviously.

Do we really think if there was some conspiracy between ESPN and the committee to keep FSU out that there would be a paper record? Furthermore, the rules for the committee pretty much allow them to do whatever they want.

However, if this leads to the committee being gone and sends us back to the BCS-type rankings system I’d be all for it. FWIW, Bama was #3 in the simulated BCS rankings this year.

What jurisdiction does the Florida AG have over the CFP?

Answer; None.

This can't be true.

Someone told me that it was only LSU and Auburn fans that were mad about this.

That’s the part that people don’t either know or want to acknowledge. The acc is the one who decided against the 12 team playoff for the 2023 season. If they (and the big 10) hadn't tried to block it, fsu would be in and so would a lot of other teams

Think about what you are saying here-a 1 loss SEC champ that beat the #1 team on a 29 game winning streak getting into the playoff is a "mulligan." fricking wild.

The sheer volume of people that sustained brain damage from 1/9/12 is stunning.

Seriously?
Your comment about Florida is a lovely state turns to a comment on home insurance?

Did you lose your penis or something?

They lost their starting QB. They aren’t even a top 10 team with their 3rd string QB. Simple as.

FSU's backup would've played in the playoff games as he's out of concussion protocol and fwiw tOSU won a title with their 3rd string QB.

And this is how it should've been. IDK why no one wants to admit it's Texas that jumped FSU and the committee did so because they're Texas and they want the ad dollars. They've been playing great ball but they had the weaker resume. I can see that and I'm obv not a BAMA fan.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moodey wants the chair of the College Football Playoff committee to explain how Florida State got left out of the top 4.

Boo Corrigan: "We voted."

This idea, which is more of an indisputable fact based on years of precedent, is very triggering to many. Easier to just blame the boogieman, Bama.

Gonna be something when the Florida AG's probe into the CFP to determine how FSU was not one of the 4 best teams discovers that they were actually more like 8th or 9th.

The team's exclusion marks the first time an undefeated Power 5 conference champion was excluded from the postseason tournament, but the injury to starting quarterback Jordan Travis in Week 12 did change the makeup of the team.

In an appearance on ESPN, CFP Selection Chair Boo Corrigan addressed this head on, saying the exclusion was due to the fact that the Seminoles were "a different team than they were in the first 11 weeks."

quote:

A major factor in the decision to leave Florida State out is the Seminoles’ health. Obviously starting quarterback Jordan Travis is out of the season, and Florida State had to rely on its third-string quarterback in the ACC Championship. Ultimately, the absence of Travis was enough to keep the Seminoles out of the Playoff.

“We had 8 really good teams this year. Somewhat of a unique year,” Corrigan said. “Looking at the player availability was really important to what was going on. I think someone said you can lose a RB, you could lose a WR, but a QB as dynamic as Jordan Travis, it changes their offense in its entirety, and that was a really big factor as the committee went through everything.”

I'm in denial for repeating what the CFP President cited as the reasoning for excluding an undefeated conference champ? Why dispute the reasoning when the man said it himself?

Whats done is done but if Milroe had gone down at Auburn, and it was the reason yall got left out, people would die over it.
