Well clearly the bar for “blowing your mind” is quite high considering this display of idiocy.

I wouldn't put either above Washington. UW is the most disrespected team on the list
I'm really surprised they're that low.

The stick is red from beating that buckeye arse in the championship game.

LINK

The big thing is the only reason why Bama was not in first before now is the ncaa docked Bama 28 victories

Alabama is second in wins, first in NC won, first in Bowl wins, and is the only team that has a winning record over every team they have played 11 or more times.

Again showing your lack of football knowledge, your ignorance. Tennessee is the only team to ever go a whole season without being scored on.

At all. No score. The defense pitched a shutout. For the entire season lol.

That was a great team. Perhaps the best team in the history of college football. No other team ever matched that.

Now, back to your gumbo, you inbred ignoramus.

That Tennessee team lost to USCw 14-0 in the Rose Bowl

I think the more amazing thing is they wasn’t awarded the national championship for that year. They was #1 at one point, but somehow they dropped in the polls even though they didn’t lose or get scored on.

They won the natty before that year and after that year. They should have been a 3 peat with that team. It’s insane you don’t award the defending national champions after they didn’t get scored on or didn’t tie a game all regular season.

Maybe it was THEY grammar.

Bama was denied a similar 3-peat in 66 solely because of politics. It happens.

Your right. But it appears you don’t know how the rankings and the polls worked back then, so let me explain it to you.

Back then the bowls really wasn’t that important in the grand scheme of things. The final poll came after the last regular season games and before the bowls were even announced.

So it is true that the Vols went 10-0 and did not give up a point in the regular season, and yet finished #2 in the final poll after being national champions the year before.
