Sean, sean, sean.

Where you been my man? We make the playoff and zero posts until tonight asking about recruiting?

What gives?

I’ve been here all along but I chose to quit commenting awhile back due to not being the most popular guy in the world!

The last two weeks have been so exciting I had to come and celebrate a little

With Buchner transferring, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bama go after another QB in the portal in case Simpson jumps, too.

Buchner to play Lacrosse.

BOL hasn’t given their official thoughts. But I seem to gather that Ohio State and Tennessee are in the drivers seat.

NIL seems to be a big factor.

Apparently it comes down to NIL and we don’t feel great about it from what I read

We need a true DE type with Eboigbe graduating

I’d be surprised if we don’t have a “home grown” player developed for this role. Lord, we should.

Perry, Goodwine, Renaud, Smith, Osborne, Hill, Hastings.

Eboigbe is a solid player but he’s a 3-6 round pick. I hope we haven’t missed on developing that caliber of player from the group above

Does Bama not play the NIL game?

Of course but Auburn is desperate and offering crazy amounts of money.

They are also convinced they have flipped Bolden, Mbawke and Dixon with bags of cash.

It is just me or has this recruiting class been super quite and not a lot of excitement?

We went all in on an Auburn legacy in Ryan Williams and got him.

I hope we hang on to him. We've missed on home-run hitters at WR for a few classes now.

It will be interesting how the playoffs affect our recruiting going forward. Win the NC and things will definitely change in regard to the talk Alabama was declining and no longer the top program.

Ehh,Bama has never really seen a big jump following a NC with recruiting like other schools...with NIL now, it's seems to be all about money promised and being able to keep the money going to recruits the following year, or another team will up the ante. Everyone keeps talking about the 25 class being loaded and the 24 class being kinda meh, especially in the state, but Freeze has the boosters behind him at AU and they are slinging $$$ like A&M did in 22. Like it or not they are a big recruiting thorn in our side, unless Freeze craps the bed on the field or literally in the bed again.
