The No. 6 Alabama gymnastics team will host the No. 3 Kentucky Wildcats Friday night in Coleman Coliseum. The fourth-consecutive top-10 showdown, and third at home, for the Crimson Tide will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be aired live on SEC Network.
Friday night's meet will be the fifth contest for Alabama as the Crimson Tide is coming off a hard-fought 197.575-197.425 victory over the then-No. 8 Florida Gators. The win marked the first time since 2019 that Florida lost at home, a streak that lasted for 20 straight home meets and featured 27 wins.

It's wild seeing Kentucky ranked #3. I remember when I was in school in 2010 I think it was they came to Tuscaloosa and 5 of their 6 girls fell off the balance beam.

Kind of glad we didn’t make the drive down tbh. Getting our butts kicked.

They should've pulled her because she didn't have it at all.

Yeah I don’t know how the rules work with that honestly. Can you only be pulled due to injury once the lineup is set?
Regardless you could see by her body language she was not confident after the first 2 events.

Rough night. Too many gymnasts were ‘off.’ Freshman Sears with a 9.9 on vault was probably the highlight. Hope consistency and focus return for the big road meet next week.

The No. 7 Alabama gymnastics team will travel to Auburn, Ala., to take on the No. 14 Auburn Tigers (4-5, 0-3 SEC) in Neville Arena on Friday. The Crimson Tide's sixth contest against a top-15 opponent will begin at 8 p.m. CT and will be aired live on SEC Network.
Friday night's meet will be the sixth contest for Alabama (5-1-1, 2-1-1 SEC) this season as the Crimson Tide is coming off a hard-fought loss to the then-No. 3 Kentucky Wildcats. Despite the outcome, UA still podiumed in every event as seven gymnasts posted a total of eight individual, season-high scores.

Dreadful night for the ladies. Managed to climb back above 197 (with a 197.050) but that’s about the only bright spot. Need to figure it out soon.
