It does matter. If I have to replace one tire while the rest are pretty good, i'll just choose to have the new tire shaved down so it matches the tread depth of the others.
For regular maintenance I rotate every 5k miles to keep the tire wear similar on all tires....

It depends on how the new DC works out. Our last guy wasn't great but we can definitely go backwards if we made a poor hire.
I think the conservative hope is 10-2. I think the aggressive hope puts 12-0 within reach due to Saban retiring....

if your old 2.5 ton kept you comfy and controlled humidity well, it is just a waste of $ to go to a 2-stage 3-ton unit. The "low" stage for a 3 ton unit is 2 tons. You wont likely notice any difference between 2-tons and 2.5 tons.
