Another 0-3 day for Diggs

The problem is other than Holt and Lovich all of our outfielders suck at the plate. Diggs has the highest ceiling of them all but we probably have to move on if he can't get it together in Hoover or maybe game 1 of a regional.

DVH is never moving on from Diggs and Lovich has been just as bad for awhile now so no reason to anyways.

If Diggs is still injured then he likely won't play much if at all in Hoover. If he's 100% he needs every at bat he can get. I don't think he's 100% myself.

The problem is that DVH has been all over the map on Diggs recently.

He’s gone from saying he’s hurt to saying he’s fine to saying a few weeks ago they may shut him down until the regional to saying in postgame this weekend he feels 100%.

I think this is ultimately one of those seasons where a player is what he is in terms of statistical production, and you just hope he turns it on randomly or finds it in the offseason like Stovall did.

Rest him until the regional. There's absolutely no reason to risk injury to him or Hagen in the useless tournament.

It’s not so much risking injury to Brady as it is trying to see if he can pitch more than 1 inning without getting shelled or walking/hitting a gazillion hitters. And what better time to try it than in a meaningless tournament

Lovich's chances of playing I think are slim after he's shown repeated dropped by fly balls. Diggs has been a solid glove at least.

Take Tygart out of the lineup due to injury and we're completely fricked as a pitching staff.

Pretty sure Hobbs will run him out there on Thursday though.

I don’t care where they play Holt, he just needs to play.

Me thinking about how similar our offense this year is to the offense in 2021 and how that postseason turned out

I’ve said this a million times here but I’ll never forgive that team for how they let down Kopps in that game 3.

He pitched his heart out on no rest and pitched brilliantly outside of the go-ahead homer, and they just couldn’t do shite at the plate.

He didn’t deserve to his magical season end in a loss in Baum.

Every team is different at the end of the day, if these guys get even just a few lukewarm to hot bats to step up they can obviously win the whole thing.

Pitching will always win, and Omaha only aids that.

Hold serve at home, get to the CWS with our arms and see what happens.

I'm an idiot. I'm highly medicated from having to have multiple back surgeries in the last thirty days.

I meant 2015.

This would be an interesting matchup. We can only pitch and can't hit. Virginia can only hit and can't pitch.
