Southern Rock Opera, by Drive-By Truckers is a great one I've been revisiting looking forward to the upcoming tour. Zip City is one of my all time favorite songs and Mike Cooley is severely underrated as a songwriter.
The Downward Spiral is probably my all time favorite.
McCarthy makes him almost a mythical or supernatural figure but there was a real Judge Holden in the source material the book is based on.
He's pretty much described the exact same way there though, this sounds just like Tobin's description of the Judge to the Kid. I've thought abo...

Send Annettee an email at [link=(https://jimmysfoodstore.com/store/)]Jimmy's Food Store[/link], their selection can't be beat and they will ship you whatever. They usually have these two in stock, both great for cooking and better than anything sold at a regular store.
I'm in Dallas, give me a price for the lot.
I don't know if I said, but none of this is at my house in Dallas, this is in rural N. Louisiana. I wish it were, I'm in OED so I could make a small fortune on FB Marketplace selling all the non cookbook collections. ...

I thought that was all of South Louisiana, nope. A few more for everyone to look at. Anyone know what the small OU floor mat looking things are?
Thanks for all the information, and if I decide to sell I'll circle back to those interested.

I don't know what to do. I feel like if I break this up it's just another part of a sweet old lady gone forever, but I'm also an estate sale person, so I really appreciate others treasure being treasured by the next person.
For everyone's afternoon viewing pleasure. I pulled all the North Louisia...

Correct. These were my non-maternal great grandmother, who died at 99 last year, and her daughter's collection.
I was reluctant to dig into these because she has 50...

I'm almost positive I saw Roger's Cajun Cookbook in there, found five more full boxes too.

Advice on what to do with old, regional cookbooks?

I'm working on cleaning out a family member's home and she has hundreds of these (see attached) regional cookbooks, my question is what's the best thing to do with them?
I know there's a little value there, but this is just one of 1000 things she has a collection of and I'm unwilling to work thro...

Fantastic show! A bunch of musicians/bands could learn a lot from him about giving people their moneys worth, and not phoning it in. 40 songs, 3 solid hours of music, amazing stage/lighting set up, not playing the exact same show every night, and doing all that at 75 is beyond impressive. Well worth...

Stay vigilant! The girlfriend and I have a ton of vouchers to use so we've been watching the site religiously, both of us just pulled 2 sets of pit tickets for Dead & Company in Chula Vista; $349 value for 2, plus free shipping somehow. I don't feel like Ticketmaster has screwed me to the tune of ...
