Time will tell who the better coach is but here are the non coaching facts.
Kelly's public image is unlikeable, he comes accress fake and insincere. Because of this the media and public will always attack him.
Freeman comes accross as genuine. He also has a certain charsma that Kelly will nev...

He's a consistant 8 - 10 win coach. To some this is a con, but I think LSU needed some stability after Coach O. At the minimum I think LSU will be in much better shape for the next guy. The max will be he gets enough talent to out talent his way into a NC game.

They did not go into the playoff healthy this year. Fact is if they joined the ACC their SOS would probably be worse.

There is no garantee of making it to the NFL, one bad hit could end your carreer. Plenty of 5 star QBs never make it to the NFL or if they do never find success. THe wise choice is always to take as much money as you can now. ...

Most coaches don't handle scheduling, I imagine this game contracts were negotiated and signed 4 or 5 years ago. ...
