Oh yes, 1980. It was a great year, or so I have heard from my granpappy. Of course I wasn't even born then.
I believe that is the year that the internal combustion engine was invented. Nobody really knows, since the internet wasn't around then....

Florida was healthy againt Auburn, which they weren't against LSU.
If LSU can establish a solid pass rush against Nix, it's a wrap....

I always enjoy this game above all other SEC matchups. LSU fans are great, and always get along with them. I think the hatred is overexaggerated on these forums. I have never seen real animosity at actual games, in BR or Hogtowne. I hope we play you again in Atlanta. Beat the Gumps!...

I think LSU's defense is better than you think.
I hope I never have to see Franks start for Florida again. Trask is a tough, humble guy. I am glad we have him starting on Satudays....

The killer for florida was that bad loss to Missou. The UK and UGA losses weren't bad rankings-wise.
As a Florida fan, I am fine with both the AP and Coaches rankings. I think UF, UGA and LSU are evenly matched and any of these teams could beat each other on any other day.
