Dog Lakes in BR?

Used to take my dogs to the Burbank retriever lake for exercise, but with the renovations they haven't been able to swim in a while.
Any ideas on other places I can get them some deep water swimming? It's the only thing that really wears them out....

Trying to put some weight on our 10 month old lab. Been feeding her Diamond Naturals Puppy, haven't been impressed. She loves it, but her poops are inconsistent and she's not putting on weight no matter how much we feed her....
