Brent Zwerneman with the Houston Chronicle is reporting that projected starting linebacker A.J. Hilliard will be ending his football career due to injuries.

Hilliard battled injuries during his two seasons at Texas A&M and recorded 58 tackles in nine games last year.

Not sure who projected Hilliard as a starter. He lost his starting job to Richard Moore before the Vanderbilt game.
