The Aggies are feeling hopeful about new head football coach Jimbo Fisher. So hopeful the Texas A&M chancellor gave him an open-ended National Championship Plaque. Per The Spun...

He probably didn’t need added pressure, but a symbolic gesture by Texas A&M’s chancellor was an added reminder of what’s at stake. Fisher was on hand at a meeting back on February 16, where Division II Texas A&M-Commerce was commemorated for its 2017 title.

Commerce head coach Colby Carthel wasn’t the only one to receive a championship plaque from A&M system chancellor John Sharp, however. Fisher got one as well, with the date listed as “20–.”
