The Aggies are feeling hopeful about new head football coach Jimbo Fisher. So hopeful the Texas A&M chancellor gave him an open-ended National Championship Plaque. Per The Spun...
quote:

He probably didn’t need added pressure, but a symbolic gesture by Texas A&M’s chancellor was an added reminder of what’s at stake. Fisher was on hand at a meeting back on February 16, where Division II Texas A&M-Commerce was commemorated for its 2017 title.

Commerce head coach Colby Carthel wasn’t the only one to receive a championship plaque from A&M system chancellor John Sharp, however. Fisher got one as well, with the date listed as “20–.”

Exactly. A couple of 9-4 seasons and A&M will build a statue of Jimbo.

Aggies are setting themselves up to be laughingstock again. They haven’t had any success in modern football that wasn’t quickly followed by NCAA sanctions.

What did he expect? This is a match made in hell. Terrible mistake, in football terms at least, by both sides. (Good in terms of money for Jimbo, tho)

Like Ole Miss' banner, this is the kind of thing that we'll be able to laugh about for generations. Thanks, Aggies.

This will actually be remembered every time the Aggies don't make the SEC Championship game or the playoffs. shite, at the end of any season that they aren't in the hunt, they are gonna get abused by other fans
