He'd be crazy to take it. If the recruiting violations were significant enough to warrant Pruitt's dismissal for cause, then the sanctions will be significant, too.

Buys him multiple years of being able to say “not MY fault!” though.

Minnesota is a historically good program. Tennessee is a historically goo program. This is a lateral move. At best.

Lol. Tennessee is a much much better job than Minnesota. Tennessee is a shitstorm right but Minnesota is not ever really going to ever be a title contender.

I don't know man didn't Minnesota almost win the big ten recently? Tennessee hasn't come close to even winning the SEC east in the last decade.

All about the money, and UT has plenty! Will take it if offered

I don’t know. With the pending NCAA trouble, and the opportunity to continue to win at their current schools, would you really leave for Tennessee???

Vetted means waiting for the twitter mob to comment?

Vols need to look for an up-and-comer. No established coach will want to kill his career. It's going to take someone who wants to prove himself as a head coach to turn their program around.

An up and comer with HC experience though. Not another coordinator. Its a tough find, but learning the HC stuff at UT with all that's going on is not a plan for success.

Would love this guy at LSU. Tennessee is a dumpster fire, so I’m not sure if he’s take that job.

Those mob riots they have had over some coaches in the past decade would keep me away from that dumpster fire.... and I think it shows. They were turned down by at least 5-10 average, at best, coaches before they hired Pruitt. nasty, nasty, fanbase.
