New South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler spoke to the media on Wednesday and talked about his transfer into to program from Oklahoma and shared why it was the right choice for him. Per On3:

“I wanted to go somewhere that had that tradition and where [fans] love their team. Has found it here in Columbia and he’s been enjoying it,” Rattler said in a press conference Wednesday afternoon.

“I feel totally refreshed. Being at a new university, a great university like this. I am very comfortable here. Knowing coach Beamer, getting to know all these guys my first month up here,” Rattler said. “I made a great decision. I feel like the pressure is taken off a little bit. My main focus right now is starting over with my team after spring break and going on to spring ball.”

When you have two QBS with tremendous potential you should make it competitive. Even though he eventually put Williams in his decisions were pretty much static instead of fluid at QB last season. Rattler has an arm and will go in the first round if he can stay healthy. I wish him the best, he was a team player all season.

A lot less pressure no doubt.
