According to The Big Lead, Texas A&M boosters are doing a lot of boosting...
quote:

"The Austin-American Statesman is reporting that Texas A&M University raised $740 million in donations in the past year (ending August 31), a 70 percent increase over their previous record. That was nearly double the $400 million raised by the University of Texas over the same period."
I'm sure it helps having a program on the rise with a Heisman Trophy winner.

???gonna need some of that to keep Sumlin around???

They could get another Sumlin tomorrow. Hell, there were three coaches locally that were dis'd by their QB this past Thursday. I apologize for not checking on Friday's results.

In other words, the rest of the conscious universe are thinking it's gonna take most of that to keep Manziel around...

Look, it's been a tough year financially. Some of us are down to our 6th Maserati pick up truck.

We'll do better next year.

Gotta get that oil price up.

Their endowment is close to 8B. Not shocking since they haven't had much to cheer for until last year.

I'm sure a good portion of this is related to fundraising for their upcoming stadium expansion.

Not too bad, especially considering it took the LSU Forever Campaign 4 years to raise the same amount.
