Former Alabama running back Tyren Jones was dismissed from the Crimson Tide football program before the 2015 season but will be headed back to the SEC and transferring to South Carolina.

Jones spent the past season at Hutchison Community College in Hutchinson, KS. Per AL.com:

Jones rushed for 655 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 6.2 yards per carry in eight games for Hutchinson last season.

South Carolina is even more in need of a running back as it is losing leading rusher Brandon Wilds, a departing senior who led the team with just 567 rushing yards last season.
