No pointing in 'merging' if you're the SEC. Just gobble up the few good programs they have and leave the rest to die.

Four 16 team superleagues is all we need. Let the Championship games of all those leagues count as part of your 12 team playoff and have 4 at large berths from among the teams not in the superleagues.

once the four 16-team superconferences are formed, they'll want to break away and form their own division, either as part of the NCAA or separate. That's 64 teams, and the playoff could be 8 teams: 4 conf champs and 4 at-large. Let the Sun Belt, C-USA, Mountain West etc. have their own division - much like FCS, Div II, Div III.

Someone put out a tweet saying a source within the B12 is saying there’s talks of a B12 and Pac12 merger, but Kansas and Texas Tech will not be asked to follow.
