The man who knocked over Alabama's BCS Trophy breaking into pieces is Carleton Tinker, father of longsnapper Carson Tinker. And he has finally spoken out to ESPN.com’s Ivan Maisel...
quote:

“In my mind, it was slow motion as it rolled off the top of the trophy case onto the table onto the floor,” “I’m not sure if I bumped the table when I turned around, or if my foot caught on the large tablecloth they had draped and puddled on the floor. That’s exactly what happened.”

“At night, as I went to sleep, every time I closed my eyes,” Tinker said, according to the report, “I kept seeing it roll off and hit the floor. That marble floor in the trophy room – it wasn’t going to be a soft landing. It shattered. It spread out all over the place.”

Shouldn't have a trophy for a game you shouldn't have been in. It's karma and the universe at work.

I have a similar haunting. Every time I close my eyes I see Les giving Lee the yank and putting in JJ. Lately the vision has been replaced with Mett handing off on 1st and 2nd down and then throwing on 3rd.

Why are we being sore losers? Stop saying they didn't deserve the game as if we somehow deserved to win the championship.

Neither Lee nor Jefferson was ever going to win that game. Move on people.

Abolish the SEC Championship Game. It has little meaning, and, as has been demonstrated, often places the game winner at a disadvantage in a BCS Championship Game.
