well....if you were made to go to an award ceremony and you knew you were not going to win all the while preventing you from preparing for the national champ game...how would you feel? Coop 1st round pick and Mariota will be 3rd round

Nobody has the power to "make" him go. Though to answer your question I'd feel pretty grateful if I received an all expenses paid VIP trip to NY to be recognized as one of the best athletes in CFB.
