Will Muschamp's Son Changes His Mind , nnounces Commitment To This SEC School
Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports
Just last week Will Muschamp's son, Jackson Muschamp, announced his commitment to Colorado State. Well, after some thought he's changed his mind. Jack, a 2020 QB recruit, has decided to join the Georgia Bulldogs 2020 recruiting class. Per 247Sports
quote:

“When I decided not to go to Colorado State, I did it pretty quickly after I had returned from that visit. I just realized what type of commitment it was to go away from home. I love the people, the coaches, and Colorado State This decision had nothing to do with that. That is a special place.

“Just thinking about it more, that opportunity to go to Georgia, and I have always wanted to go there. They never really stopped recruiting me since I went to camp there last summer. It was just an opportunity I could not really pass up. I am fortunate enough to be in a situation where I could go walk on somewhere like Georgia in the first place. I am super excited about it.”
You think dad is happy or mad?

Brilliant. He takes a scholly from another school, then transfers mid-year.

I would take the bet that Son will not play against father in college.

I'm sure Will has no problem with this. It's about what's best for his son, not for himself.

That's bizarre that Muschamp has to coach against his son year end year out unless he gets fired as many expect

Being the backup QB in Athens is probably a sweet gig. Fun school, hot girls and playing for a playoff contender every year close to home.

Muschamp went to UGA, right? I know they are a rival, but it's probably more about business to coaches anyway.

I think people are going to read way too much into this one.

Wait wut, he’s dumping a scholly to walk on to the school that canned his dad? I see he got his brains from dad.

His family is rich and can pay easily for it if that's what will make him happy. No sense in going somewhere you'll feel miserable. If that's what will make him, he should go for it. Life passes so fast and is so short, live with no regrets. Make decisions and do things that you enjoy and will make you happy.

Yeah, I don't think money for tuition is a concern for them.
