ESPN released way-too-early 2017 SEC Power Rankings this week and Alabama is No. 1 ahead of Auburn and LSU.
quote:

1. Alabama: Nick Saban's defense might take a (slight) step back with so many starters heading to the NFL, but his offense should be in great shape under new coordinator Steve Sarkisian with the starting quarterback, both starting receivers and all four of the top tailbacks returning. -- Alex Scarborough

Shocker Msu projected last in the west again. And like usual, we won't end up there.

Yeah. Probably will play a mid-American team in a bowl game and win by 1

Ole Miss should have been left off the list since they are mothballing our program.

"We'll be wide awake laughing at their existence in the SEC"....yes, they were wretched this year, but remember they won the East 2 of their first 3 years in the SEC, so don't laugh too hard.

Lol @ Auburn ahead of LSU. LSU just BARELY lost to Auburn this past season with a lame duck HC and basically no OC. Defense might be only slightly down if at all(they all have a extra year in Arandas system) and LSU now has one of the best OC in all of college football. LSU 37 Auburn 17
