Just five days after releasing his offensive coordinator, Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason fired defensive coordinator David Kotulski on Monday. Per the

Kotulski spent only one season with the Commodores, following Mason from Stanford to install the 3-4 defense at Vanderbilt. He also served as inside linebackers coach for the Commodores.
Vanderbilt confirmed that Kotulski would not be retained through a press release on Monday.
Last Wednesday, Mason fired offensive coordinator Karl Dorrell, wide receivers coach Marc Lubick and strength coach Bill Hughan. None of their replacements have been hired yet.
