When talking to The Post and Courier about who'd he vote for in the USA Today Coaches Poll, South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier took the opportunity to rip Florida State's schedule...
quote:

“You know what I think is interesting? Everybody is picking on Ohio State. Their schedule was ranked tougher than FSU’s,” Spurrier said. “Did you know that? Everybody’s picking on how Ohio State hasn’t played anybody. I said, ‘Well, what about FSU?’ They beat Clemson, and that’s about it.”
Is he right?

Well Spurrier, the SEC East is the worst it probably has been in ten years. Your West opponents were Arkansas and Miss State.

"Both are jokes. The BCS NC game is being played in ATL again, for the 8th year in a row."

They've played a similar number of high-quality teams... namely two. Wisconsin and Michigan State for Ohio State, Clemson and Miami (FL) for Florida State. FSU blew both of their teams out, OSU handled business against Wisconsin and we'll see how they do vs MSU.

You could make a case for the SEC champ over both. I really hope one of them trips up this weekend

I thought ESPN reported that OSU's schedule was 65th toughest while FSU's schedule was 43rd.

It wasn't the hardest schedule but everytime they played a "tough" team they beat them by 30+

Clemson, Miami, Maryland, Florida, etc..

Ohio State on the other hand barely won their "tough" games
